Before you start
- This is Early Access, so expect rough edges. More topics are on the way.
- Updates keep your progress, and the app keeps automatic backups. To move your progress to another computer, use Settings → Export progress… and Import progress….
- Found a wrong answer or a bug? Use the Report a problem button in the app.
- Hands-on builds use only battery or USB power, at 12 V or less. Read the safety notes before you build.
Release notes
0.3.0October 2, 2026
- Mastered topics now light up in their subject's color, and the links between them light up too.
- Your progress survives updates. The app keeps rotating backups, restores a damaged save from the newest good copy, and adds Export progress… and Import progress… to Settings.
- The Bench has a function generator, a two-channel oscilloscope, and a Bode plotter, and you predict the result before each run.
- Keyboard shortcuts on the Bench place parts, draw wires, and pick instruments.
- After a fault-finding problem, the Bench can hide a fault for you to find with the meter, in that circuit or your own.
- The simulator reads SPICE models for diodes, bipolar transistors, and MOSFETs, checked against ngspice.
- Hints no longer give the answer away, and every topic can now be mastered.
Known limits: the Bench keeps its circuit only until you close the app. A redesigned main screen and final tests for each topic are next.
